A New Strain Tester For your Gaming PC

Do you think you have great Gaming PC and you brag to your friends that you run smooth Oblivion? Well think again before bragging, a new possible tester will be in town on August 24, BioShock a new FPS from 2KGames.

Although the footage on the future game is not very rich, the developers constantly kill our brains with  statements about the minimum and maximum system requirements, and now they are official and out. So prepare emotionally, sit down and then read the stupid requirements:

Minimum system requirements

    * CPU: Pentium 4 2.4GHz Single Core processor
    * System RAM: 1GB
    * Video Card: DirectX 9.0c compliant video card with 128MB RAM (NVIDIA 6600 or better/ATI X1300 or better, excluding ATI X1550).
    * Sound Card: 100% DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card
    * Hard disc space: 8GB free space

Recommended system requirements

    * CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo processor
    * System RAM: 2GB
    * Video card: DX9: DirectX 9.0c compliant video card with 512MB RAM (NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GT or better); DX10: NVIDIA GeForce 8600 or better
    * Sound Card: Sound Blaster X-Fi series (Optimized for use with Creative Labs EAX ADVANCED HD 4.0 or EAX ADVANCED HD 5.0 compatible sound cards)

On the minimum side almost all of us will have no problems to run the game. On the maximum side, problems appear, i mean not everyone has a 7900GT, let me rephrase, very few guys have a 7900GT. Why do i seem so "against" this game? well i saw the images from the game, those i could find anyway and it doesn't seems by far so "beautiful" as the hardware requirements.

So i guess it will prove me wrong but until then i think Oblivion's maximum system requirements have been shaded.
