At the moment of creation, each character is given its own unique identity code. These unique identity codes are for internal database purposes only and are not viewable by the player. Customized items are attached to those unique identity codes and not to any character name.
In other words, each customized item is customized for the original character only, not simply for any character with that name. If a character is deleted, a newer character with the same name cannot use the items customized for the original character because the new character has a completely different unique identity code. |
