There was a known issue that resulted in a VPU recovery error when using an ATI video card in Searing Gorge. This issue has been resolved with the latest ATI drivers available from ATI’s website: http://www.ati.com/ . Note that the driver should be replaced even if you have the latest driver installed at this time. Removing the previous driver completely before installing the new is advised as well. ATI should have an entry for the video card in the "Add/Remove Programs" section of the "Control Panel".
Some players have also had success in installing unsupported 3rd party drivers from Omega regarding VPU recoveries experienced in Searing Gorge. |
