The Good:
- Great music - Superb landscapes - Vast world that is extremely hard to be covered by foot - Excellent music - Very eye pleasing dungeons
The bad:
-Some players don’t get crazy about the graphics which kind of bulky -The camera needs very much affection in order to move around -The AI is not cooperative all the time
You face a game that throws out an impressive world, that stretches very, very much, peninsular lands, islands, continents, vast forests, deserts and many more. The game is quest based and can have some addiction effects on the player and that happens very often, you begin a quest, you finish it, start another and another and 4 to 6 or more hours may pass until you quit the game and that either because your tired and your eyes cannot be kept open anymore or someone yells at you: stop man get a hold of yourself!
Although it doesn’t have the best graphics something is impressive at this game, the engine, it’s very well created, allowing the game to be played on low level systems(not too low though) and medium systems and this is a great plus.
In this big world the monsters get stronger as you advance in the game, this will stop you from going in places that are to dangerous for you’re level. The complexity of the game is only matched by the easiness of the interface. You can learn it very fast, it’s very elegant, easy to customize, fast gameplay. The quests I mentioned earlier can be done alone or with friends, that depends on you, though some quests require you to kill Elite monsters which are very strong and almost make you find a party if you wish to finish it. The loading screens are very short and very rare, giving the player a fluent gameplay.
Once you grow in level you and you’re party can enter instances which are being created from the moment you entered them only for you, no one else but you’re group can enter, this is a way to guarantee you some loot. Besides being huge, the game allows you to choose from 4 alliance races and 4 horde races which can be created as you like, with you’re favourite hair colour, face and skin appearance.
The combat was created to be a fast and furious one, and to accelerate it even more, characters that don’t have a healing capability can learn to bandage themselves, eat &/or drink something while they take a nap or use potions, and all this to reduce the time between fights.
Ok so your 'questing’ around in the world and you find a new territory, if is you’re first time in that land you will gain experience. But you don’t have to walk from a continent to another, you can simply ride a wyvern or gryphon to the place you want to go, but before that, you must travel on foot to that place to take the checkpoint(flightpath). That fast and furious combat I mentioned before could lead you to death and death is nothing awkward in this game.
What happens if you die? Well you become a ghost that searches for the place where it died (is not fun to search for you’re corpse isn’t it?) so it can re-enter it’s body or press the resurrection button at a healer and get resurrected where you stand but in this way you will get weakened and you wont be able to get into the action for a few minutes. If you rested after you died or at any time you are rested, you can gain double experience for a short time.
The classes make everyone be proud of it’s character either if it’s a rogue or a mage, but this changes all together in PvP battles where only a few classes 'rule’ . While making quests with you’re group you will see that every class brings it’s contribution to the victory, healers keep the party members alive, warriors tank so that that casters hit from distance, rogues give the final blow and picklock doors and so on. It’s all together a mature game with fun, fun and more fun.
Say you get bored of killing everything it moves, say you want to settle down, admire the landscapes, well then choose a profession and a secondary profession. Lets say you choose as a primary profession blacksmithing, well you can pick you’re secondary profession lets say mining and with the iron mined, craft yourself a weapon with the blacksmithing skills. Professions are also a great source of money, at higher levels a profession can allow your to earn very serious amounts of money.
As a complementary part the game has day and night cycles, weather effects thousands of players that help you or hate you, mounts(animals that can be ridden) to help you move faster and many more fun things.
To play the game you will need either a credit card or a prepaid game card to create an account, so you have a variety of ways to pay.
All around is beautiful game that will not bore you, on the contrary it will get you addicted.
We give it a 8.5
